My name is Matt and I am a 3D artist based in Mooresville, North Carolina. I graduated in 2009 from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. After years of working in video production, as a Director of Photography, I decided to switch gears and follow my lifelong passion for animation and visual effects. The idea that I could sit down at a computer and create a world using only my imagination was intoxicating. Today I work in Cinema 4D and render in Octane/Redshift. Combining multiple pieces of software allow me to push the limits of my work. I’m also proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products.

I currently work full-time as a 3D/VFX Artist for Hutton Miller, LLC but also enjoy doing freelance projects in my spare time. I am always ready for a new challenge and welcome every opportunity to enhance my abilities.

When not working, I love travelling with my wife and two sons in our camper. I’m always ready for adventure.
